Protecting Australia? yeh, right

Are ASIO and Australian federal police incompetent? Undeniably, ASIO at least has been an international laughing stock for years.

Corrupt? Well I know of one corrupt ASIO agent although he could be retired or dead by now, but, There could well be entrenched corruption in the ranks in my experience, but it is more likely a refusal to keep up with the times and technology as well as over bloated egos and refusal to acknowledge that the world is changing. In any case, it is not acceptable.

Are you Australian?

Have you always been led to believe that ASIO, ASIS, Federal police and other security agencies are trying their best to keep Australia safe from terrorists?

Would it make you uncomfortable to find out that they are actively ignoring real, actual evidence of terrorist behaviour in Australia?

Well, you are not alone.

As a member of the 'other' side of society, I have had various experiences with these organisations and have, sadly, had to realise that they are just waiting and hoping for a terrorist attack on Australian soil, probably in the hope of gaining extra status and funding, maybe even just to justify their existance.

I love this country and believe it to be the best place to live in the world. I am not a 'dobber' but to protect this country that I love I have at times been in the position to inform the authorities of potential threats and able to back it up on occasions with proof. But will they listen? No

They prefer to ignore people like me who have inside information, for the reasons I have explained above.

On one occasion, I was able to give ASIO the date, time and place of a meeting where a hidden terrorist 'wanna be' group was meeting to buy weapons. I also was required to be at this meeting and informed them of this. I was there, I saw the exchange of weapons. Were the authorities there? NO.

A month later I was shot and police were called to the hospital. I asked them why they were not in the vicinity of the meeting. They said that they simply did not believe me. Surely it was easy enough to check out.

Another time, I sent the federal police and ASIO a couple of parcels containing a silencer for a gun and a gun with the fingerprints of a well known international crime figure on it. There was no response to my sending a hand gun through the post to them.

Obviously they are trying very hard not to know anything. This was proven to me one day when I was searched by police because they thought I had guns in my posession. The search was a day late but what surprised me was that the search was soooo incompetant that it was obvious that they were trying not to find anything. They missed items in my possessions that they should have found and didn't even open bags to search them.

Is it corruption? Is it incompetence? I think it is deliberate manipulation of the public.

Are ASIO or the Australian federal police protecting us. No

It has become a matter of principle to me now.

We as tax payers are paying for their services and we are not getting whet we are paying for or what is expected. There is no reason why we can't have the best intellegence gatherers in the world so why do we put up with such stupidity.
